CARMEN OUR STORY

Nikki Box, founder of Carmen Nicole, used to be a hard-working single mum at the young age of 19. She used to earn £35 a week, struggling to make ends meet and provide for her family. Nikki has always had a strong passion for colouring hair. Nikki has always felt as though experimenting with hair colour gave her confidence that never seemed possible. She was lucky enough to be head-hunted for most of her career, by big companies who were eager to benefit from her natural expertise in the industry – as well as her excellent work ethic!

Nikki will be forever thankful for her previous work in giving her the opportunity of a lifetime. She has been able to venture all over the world and learn so much about the hair-colour industry. This work just so happened to open doors which led to the creation of her latest project, Carmen Nicole. 

Even though she has struggled in previous years with health issues, as well as a family breakdown; she always came back stronger. Nikki has still been determined to find success in doing what she loves most and providing for the hairdressing industry. She wanted to help other people feel as good about themselves as she did when experimenting with hair-colour.

While running her salon, Nikki noticed one of the most significant issues that most stylists and hairdressing face when colouring hair; which was the amount of colour which goes to waste. Not satisfied and willing to settle for throwing money down the drain, Nikki set out to fill the gap in the market and so came Carmen Nicole.

In taking the great leap to create Carmen Nicole, Nikki has created a range of hair-colours that are long-lasting, high-quality, enriched with nourishing ingredients, and designed to help salons reduce the amount of wasted stock. Carmen Nicole is supplied exclusively to salons; so clients will only be able to experience this quality and innovative hair colour through salons who want to provide the very best for their clients while staying waste (and money) efficient.
